Abstract


COLORS AND SYMBOLS IN TURKISH MYTHOLOGY

When we examine Turkish mythology since its creation, we can see that it is full of intense myth and symbolic concepts. Especially Dede Korkut Stories, which are said to express the Turkish tradition, include the myths that will bring stone to western mythology along with the epics in question. It is observed that the myths of western mythology are also a breeze of gaudy Turkish mythology. In the myths of existence, until the Turks combined their beliefs of “Sky God” with Shamanism, it is seen that nature and animal figures occupy an extreme place in all myths and the importance of colors in these myths is seen
