Özet

Arka plan: Bu araştırmada, Kanun Hükmünde Kararnameler (KHK) nedeniyle hayatlarına son veren kişilerle kişisel nedenlerle intihar edenlerin yas ve mezar ritüellerindeki farklılıklar incelenmiştir.

Amaç: Araştırmanın amacı devletin KHK kapsamında uyguladığı politik baskıların bireyler üzerindeki etkilerini ve bu baskılara maruz kalan kişilerin intiharları ile kişisel nedenlerle intihar edenler arasındaki yas ritüellerindeki farklılıkları anlamaktır. Bu kapsamda, KHK intiharlarının, yakınları tarafından genellikle bireysel bir karar olarak değil, devletin baskıcı politikalarının bir sonucu olarak algılandığı gözlemlenmiştir.

Yöntem: Otuz dört intihar eden kişinin yakını ile derinlemesine görüşmeler yapılmış ve veriler içerik analizi yöntemiyle değerlendirilmiştir.

Bulgular: Araştırma kişisel nedenlerle intihar edenlerin yakınlarının yas ve mezar ritüellerinde damgalanma ve dışlanmaya maruz kaldığını, KHK intiharlarının ise toplumsal bir tepki ve dayanışma çerçevesinde karşılandığını ortaya koymaktadır.

Çözüm: Çalışmada, psikososyal destek programlarının yaygınlaştırılması, toplumsal farkındalık kampanyalarının artırılması ve devlet politikalarında adaletin sağlanması önerilmektedir.
