Özet

Bu çalışma, Yoksulluğu Azaltma Strateji Planı belgelerine kapsamlı bir genel bakışı tanımlamaya çalışmaktadır. Bu, mevcut her ekonomistin anlaması gereken çok önemli bir belgedir. Şu anda dünya, Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Hedefleri Gündeminde listelenen on yedi kalkınma hedefini uygulamaktadır. Çalışma, Geçici Yoksulluğu Azaltma Strateji Planı (IPRSP) ve Eksiksiz Yoksulluğu Azaltma Strateji Planları (PRSP) dahil olmak üzere Yoksulluğu Azaltma Strateji Planları belgesiyle ilgili çeşitli temaları ele almaktadır. Çalışma aynı zamanda Yoksulluğu Azaltma Strateji Planları (PRSP) kavramının tarihsel olarak nasıl ortaya çıktığını açıklamaktadır. PRSP yönteminin 1999 yılında sunulmasından günümüze kadar geçen süreyi kapsamaktadır. Çalışmada ayrıca, Yoksulluğu Azaltma Strateji Planları (PRSP) belgelerinin hazırlanmasında yer alması gereken temel ilkeler açıklanmakta ve ilgili Yoksulluğu Azaltma Strateji Planlarının (PRSP) uygulanmasında yoksul ülkelerin karşılaştığı zorluklar ele alınmaktadır. Son olarak, bu planların yoksul ülkelere gerçekten yardımcı olup olmadığı ya da yoksul ülkeleri ve uluslararası finans kuruluşlarını güçlendirmenin başka bir yolu olup olmadığı konusunda genel bir görüş verilecektir
