This research, it is aimed to get students' opinions on project-based teaching in distance education on the subject of environmental pollution. For this purpose, interview questions consisting of eight open-ended questions were asked to seven middle school fifth-grade students. Content analysis was carried out by translating the data obtained from the interviews. In this context, codes, categories and themes were determined. Tables related to the determined codes, categories and themes were arranged and direct quotations were included in the findings. In the findings, it was concluded that although the students generally expressed a positive opinion about project-based education in distance education, they preferred face-to-face education. Based on the results, it has been suggested to use face-to-face and distance education together in schools.
