Abstract

Infographics, also known as information designs, are not a new phenomenon in our lives. Visualized information has retained its significance since the time of our ancestors in caves. Providing visual support or presenting information entirely through visuals makes it easier to reach the target audience. The process of transferring information through visuals has evolved over time, from pictograms to graphs, and even to animated graphics. We encounter these visuals frequently in our daily lives. Infographics that facilitate our daily routines help us understand our environment or the information we read more quickly.

Looking at our present day, due to the changing lifestyle in the digital age, data and information need to be processed more quickly and easily. With the advancement of technology, we are faced with increasing amounts of data every day. This growing stack of data has created a desire for better comprehension of this information. Printed versions of infographics fall short when dealing with situations where the data to be conveyed is extensive. In this context, the importance of swiftly and effectively conveying data to the audience has increased. Brief information, tables, shapes, and values are the most basic elements used to visualize data. However, when these elements need to be used to emphasize the content of the information being conveyed to the audience, a static medium cannot create the desired impact. Therefore, infographic videos come into play. Animated infographic videos not only convey more data quickly but also make it more memorable. An expressive style with animated graphics is more memorable and impactful. This style is impressive and can be a faster data communicator for viewers. In this case, conveying information with animated graphics has a positive effect in terms of time and impact in the process of obtaining information.
