Literature is the art of expressing events, thoughts, feelings and dreams aesthetically through language. Plato defined the general meaning of literature as the reflection of life, and this description has survived until today. The fact that Literature courses given to students in high schools are focused on memorization and transferring information causes students to move further away from these courses. Purpose of the research; The aim is to examine the impact of the series on the literature course of high school students after the Gönül Dağı series started to be published and to develop effective solution suggestions on this issue. Observation, literature review, interview and survey techniques were used in this study, which was prepared in accordance with the descriptive research model.
The data obtained has concluded that a series on folk literature attracts the attention of young generations and contributes to the love of literature.
Poems and sayings in the TV series can be shown to students in the form of short videos during classes. In this way, young people can be introduced to the works of important authors.
