Abstract

It is known that cave drawings revealed as a result of archaeological research are similar to today's visual communication tools. The fact that people have been expressing their communication in a visual way by using tools such as signs etc. since the early ages shows the importance of visuality in communication. In this study, graphic design and exhibition design are examined as visual communication. After explaining the elements and principles of visual communication, the study tries to explain the relationship between visual communication with examples of exhibition design and graphic design. In line with the examples analyzed, the importance of graphic design and exhibition design in visual communication is revealed.
