Tourism is one of the fastest growing and most important sectors in the world. Overtourism, which arises when a destination's carrying capacity is exceeded due to a large number of tourists or visitors arriving at the same time, results in a type of deterioration affecting not only the quality of life of the local population but also the quality of experience of the tourists in the region. This study aims to evaluate over-tourism , which is seen as a global problem, with SWOT Analysis, specific to the Prague example. In order to achieve this goal, a literature review (research) was conducted and over-tourism was observed in Prague, the capital of Czechia, and the information obtained from these observations was evaluated using the SWOT analysis method. As a result of the evaluations made; The strengths, weaknesses and possible opportunities and threats of over-tourism in the Prague destination are revealed. It has been determined that over-tourism has many positive and negative effects on destinations. In this context, the benefits and harms of overtourism to destinations need to be evaluated and plans and strategies for the future must be prepared well. Various suggestions were presented by evaluating the findings obtained.
