For the factors affecting smoking failure, different variables and different results are found in studies conducted at different times and different samples. There may even be differences in the same country. A different sample was selected from these sources and their results were compared with similar studies. It is thought to be a reference for future studies. A questionnaire was used to identify factors that could affect smoking cessation. In addition to demographic questions such as age, gender, monthly income, "In which situation do you need to smoke most?" Cognitive questions such as "Do you intend to quit smoking in a short time?" The variables that may affect the question were searched. It is striking that the most effective variables in thinking about quitting smoking are thoughts about health. All of the questions about health were found significant on the idea of quitting smoking. As a result of this study, the first of the most effective reasons for smoking cessation was the variables emphasizing that it is harmful to health. The second is financial loss. It was stated that intelligence, socioeconomic status, and personality may also have effects on smoking cessation, and understanding personality traits and acting appropriately to quit smoking can be effective. It is thought that good analysis of personal characteristics can contribute to smoking cessation in an individual sense, and specific studies according to regional factors will also create awareness and awareness in the social sense
