In this study, which was conducted to reveal the organizational cynicism levels of teachers, the opinions of teachers working in Pamukkale and Merkezefendi districts of Denizli province in the 2022-2023 academic year were taken. The research is in the descriptive survey model, one of the quantitative research designs. The data were obtained from 427 teachers with an easily accessible sample. The “Organizational Cynicism Scale” was used to collect data.
In the study, it was determined that the organizational cynicism levels of the teachers were at "Low" and "Medium" levels. The highest level of teachers' organizational cynicism sub-dimensions is in the behavioral dimension. This is followed by the cognitive dimension, while the lowest average is in the affective dimension. The general level of organizational cynicism is at the "Less" level. It was observed that the organizational cynicism sub-dimensions levels of the teachers did not differ according to gender, age, marital status, district, but differed significantly according to the branch, education level and level of work. It has been determined that the organizational cynicism levels of the teachers are higher in favor of classroom teachers and high school branch teachers according to their branches, higher in favor of graduate graduates according to education level, and higher in favor of those working in secondary schools and high schools according to grades.
