ANALYSIS OF THE PROGRAMS TITLED "ESRA EROL’DA AND MÜGE ANLI ĠLE TATLI SERT" BROADCAST ON ATV SABAH SPECIAL CONCEPTS IN THE BOOK OF MEDIA BULLYING BY IGNACIO RAMONET

Abstract

Reality programs, which Ignacio Ramonet called Tele-Trash in his book, started to be tested in Europe and America in 1990, and by the end of the 1990s, they took their place among the most-watched television formats. Since the beginning of the 2000s, it has become the most favorite format of television producers in our country, too. In this analysis, ATV morning generation programs “Esra Erol and Müge Anlı ile Tatlı Sert” with the concepts of “Mediatic Messianism, Mediatic/Political Time, Tele-courts and Tele-Trash” in Ignacio Ramonet's book “Bullying of the Media” and the experts in these programs with the concepts of "Fast-Thinker and Media Intellectual" in Pierre Bourdieu‟s book "On Television" will be examined. As a sample, these two programs were chosen for that they have the highest ratings among the reality programs broadcast in our country.
