Immigration is an act of long or short-term relocation within or outside the country‟s borders to another place. Although the factor that motivated this action changed over time, there has not been much change in the geography of the target countries, from 1945 to today. European Union countries take the lead as the target country in the displacement movements around the worls. The most important reason for this situation is the development of most of the member countries in both social and economc fields. Perhaps the most important (though not the only reason) effect of migration on EU countries is that it has led to efforts to find a common ground in solving the problems faced by countries in the process. In short, The EU has made arrangements to create common policies due to migration problems.
In this study, it will be discussed which stages of the European Union immigration policies have passed from the end of the Second World War to the present day. Mass migration around the World since the end of 2010 has led to the change and transformation of EU security policies. The perception of security and xenophobia based on the economy cause the EU to take more and more drastic measures against irregular migration
