From the first half of the twentieth century onwards, especially with the thickening of the borders that seperate fields of art and design from each other, disciplines started to dissolve inside one another. When looked through a framework where boundaries between disciplines bend, at times disappear, color and compositional formation of painting art, three dimensional, volumetric and massic structure of sculpting art can be a springboard for different and new art fields. One of these new art fields is “wearable sculpture”. Wearable sculpture, in the twenty-first century where fashion and design objects are evaluated as art, started to form a field unique to itself, especially by making use of aesthetic perspective of painting and sculpting arts. This field also created an audience that push the boundaries between popular culture and art and that wander on these boundaries.
