Cüngüş is the smallest district in terms of surface area, located in the northwest of Diyarbakır city. Researches show that a certain Armenian population lived in Cungus in the past. Churches and monasteries in the district also confirm this information. One of these structures, Surp Garabed Monastery, has survived from the past to the present. In the literature review about the monastery, many written and visual sources could not be reached. Purpose of the study; it is to document the Surp Garabed Monastery and to promote it so that it can be passed on to future generations. Several methods were used in the study. First of all, in order to make a holistic evaluation, on-site observation and examination were made. Written sources about the Armenian people who lived in Chungus were researched. In order to reach the registered structures in Çüngüş, support was received from the relevant institutions. In addition, it has been tried to reach visual and written sources in detail about the building and the region in which it is located. The survey and restitution drawings of the building were analyzed with the help of autocad program, and arrangements were made. This work; Documenting the Surp Garabed Monastery by due diligence is important in terms of raising awareness about the building so that it takes its place in the literature and is taken under protection by the relevant authorities
