ANALYSIS OF HAPPINESS AND SPIRITUAL OF PARENTS WITH DISABLED CHILDREN

Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the relationship between happiness and spirituality in terms of demographic
characteristics and disability status of parents with disabled children.
The sample of the study consisted of the parents of 162 disabilities children who education in Special Education and
Rehabilitation centers and formal education institutions in Kahramanmaraş province in 2016-2017 academic year.
For the parents who participated in the sampling; Bilgi Personal Information Form was developed by İbrahim Demirci in
2017 and a 5-item Likert, one-dimensional and 6-item “Happiness Scale” and “Spirituality Scale” were applied. T-test
and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used to evaluate the data.
