EXAMINATION OF TEACHERS' CURRICULUM FIDELITY

The aim of this study is to determine the level of teachers' commitment to the teaching programs they implement and to examine them according to some variables. The sample of the study consists of 220 teachers from different branches determined by convenient sampling. The data were collected from the participants with the “Curriculum Fidelity Scale”. The method of the study is the screening method, which is one of the quantitative research types. Mean, independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), Kruskal Wallis, and posthoc. tests were made. According to the results of the research, teachers' commitment to the curriculum is high. According to the gender variable, there is a significant difference in favor of female teachers, according to the weekly lesson hours variable, in favor of the teachers who have more than 26 hours, and according to the branch variable, there is a significant difference in favor of the kindergarten and primary school teachers. There is no significant difference compared to other variables.
