Abstract

Folk tales are the first products of the period when human beings passed from a nomadic lifestyle to a settled life. They are mixed genres of poetry and generation, which include heroism, love, etc. in their subjects. Folk tales are performed in oral communication environments and transferred from generation to generation. It will be tried to examine the effects of fear on people by emphasizing the continuation of the generation (interruption), which is the subject of folk tales and which affects its heroes the most. Fear plays the role of a driving force and life support unit that has developed in the metaphysical world of human beings and shapes their life in the physical world since their existence. In this study, named "Fear of not continuing one's generation in Anatolian Field Folk Tales", examples in folk tales are emphasized. The concept of fear will be examined based on these examples. Human beings encounter the symbol of fear from the moment they are born. In this study, which focuses on the fear of not continuing the generation in Turkish folk tales of the Anatolian Area, the aims of the fear, the effects it leaves on the individual and the functions it serves in the stories are explained with examples, taking into account individual and social differences.
