Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the postgraduate theses about social skills in inclusive education. The research was
designed in the scanning model and the document analysis method was preferred in the research. In this context, at the
Higher Education Institution (YÖK) National Thesis Center; The search was conducted using the keywords inclusion,
integration, and social skills. 26 theses were reached. These made in the inclusive environment and related to social skills
were included in the research. After the inclusion criteria, 11 studies were included in the descriptive analysis process. In the
analysis process, the year the theses were completed, universities; Methods (quantitative, qualitative, mixed), sample level,
and data collection tools were examined. As a result of the descriptive analysis, it was seen that the theses were mostly made
in Anadolu and Gazi Universities, the studies carried out since 2017 started to increase, quantitative methods were used as a
method, and scales were used as a data collection tool. Students were included as the sample group in the research.
Considering the research findings, it is recommended that experimental studies focused on gaining skills for children with
special needs and their teachers should be widely used.
